A 38 year old Australian man called Simon suffered from cancer. Doctors said he could be cured of pain but Simon was very selfish and self contained. The man refused the therapy and got more and more depressive. On 14th December 1993 he commited suicide.
Simon’s grieving parents made preparations for the funeral. During the funeral Simon‘s family heard a humming noise comming out of the coffin. However, Simon was alive again. But he didn’t respond to his name and didn’t know his parents.
Simon told them that he was visited from a ghost. The ghost told Simon that he would received the ability to come alive again. But he had to believe in it. He couldn’t introduce such a strange happening. Simon who had been never superstitious changed his mind instantaneous. He was concentrated on his body and he was able to move his hands.
His family didn’t believe him. They had the suspicion that he had a head brain trauma and he is confused. Everybody was excited and try to find a plausible explanation. After some time they abandoned it.
Simon refused to go to a doctor but the parents had their way. First Simon’s parents went with him to an hospital but he was in rude health. Simon’s parents were taken by surprise and they decided to visit a doctor who had the qualities of a psychic doctor and a psychologist. The doctor worked with the man more then one year. He worked up Simon’s future and helped him. After the therapy the man was as selfish and self contained as in past but he wanted to visit the doctor again. The doctor believed in his story because only he knew the little evidence wich made Simon’s story believable.
