Past tense simple or progressive?

  • Hallo. Ich benötige einen rat, bei einer Aufgabe in der es um das past tense simple or progressive geht. Und hoffe, dass sie vielleicht mir weiter helfen könnten bei dieser Aufgabe, in dem sie mir sagen ob ich die Fragen richtig gebildet habe.

    Die Aufgabenstellung: Please make questions in the past tense ( simple or progressive.)

    a) Mr Davenport and Kevin still/ to play football/ at seven in the evening?

    Meine Antwort: Were Mr Davenport and Kevin still playing football at seven in the evening?

    b) Last Monday/ Mrs Davenport/ sit in front of the house/ when the postman/ to come?

    Meine Antwort: Does Mrs Davenport sat in front of the house when the postman came?

    c) Carol/ just/ to bake a cake/ when Anne/ to phone?

    Meine Antwort: Was Carol just baking a cake when Anne phoned?

    d) You always/ to drink tea for breakfast/ when you/ to be/ in England?

    Meine Antwort: Are you always drinking tea for breakfast when you are in England?

    deine Entscheidung bei der Aufgabe b) ist in jedem Fall falsch: Does Mrs. Davenport sit ... (Present !)

    Did Mrs. Davenport sit ... (Past)

    Zu überdenken wäre auch: Was Mrs. Davenport sitting in front of the house when the postman came.
